Preparations check-list before your Kaplan English course
Moving to a different country can be stressful and at Kaplan we want to help you ease the process as much as we can. Here's a list of steps you need to check before starting your course. Have a look, get prepared and bon voyage!
Do you need a visa?
If your answer is yes, you're probably already in the process of getting one. Embassies and local authorities should be able to provide you with all the information you need, but please let us know if you have any questions regarding visas for your trip.
Complete your payment
We should receive your payment 8 weeks before your start date if you require a visa; and 4 weeks before if you don't need one.You can:
Send us a new credit card authorisation form to be processed, or
Pay directly on our website using your Student ID.After, please email us with your payment details.
Accommodation
Whether it is one of our carefully selected and welcoming homestays or a conveniently-located city center residence; KIE offers you the best accommodation options.Get in touch to find out more.
If you have already booked accommodation with us, your details will be sent to you 2 weeks before your arrival date.
Your flight details
If your education advisor has requested them, please email him or her confirming your flight details as soon as you have them. Remember that accommodation bookings run from Saturday to Saturday. Please plan your flights so that you get to your accommodation before 10 pm on Saturday or Sunday.
Airport Transfer
Arriving alone in a foreign country can be daunting. We can make it easier for you! Our greeters can pick you up from the airport and take you to your accommodation or school. Request more information.
If you've already booked our tranfer services, you'll recive the final details just after we receive your flight details confirmation.
Medical Insurance
Cover yourself in the case of an unpredictable situation. We'll find a 3rd party provider to fit your requirements. Ask for more details.
