New Year's Eve at our Toronto English School
So this year you’re spending New Year’s Eve in Toronto and you’re not really sure where to go on the 31st? Follow the guide to have a great night out with your friends from Kaplan International Colleges, Toronto.
Head to Citytv’s Toronto New Year’s Eve Bash at Nathan Phillips Square to see perform some of Canada’s top artists. From the square, you will also be able to see the midnight fireworks, so this is by all means the place to be!
If you want to dance all night long, make your way to the Entertainment District. Enjoy some live music, drink some champagne or go clubbing! Make sure you go relatively early to avoid the queues.
The good news is, if you’re staying out late, you will be able to get home for free, as rides on the TTC don’ cost a cent between 12:01am and 4am. GO Transit also offers you free trips on all buses and trains beginning at 7pm on December 31st and continuing until the regular end of service. A great way to start 2011!
