Kaplan International Colleges Announce Blogger Competition Winner

Kaplan International Colleges has announced the winner of its How to learn English blogger competition.

Asaf Cohen from Israel won the first prize of a new iPad after receiving over half of the competition votes for his blog post explaining how he learned English and his thoughts on the Kaplan How to learn English infographic.

The competition bloggers were asked to write about the Kaplan infographic, which reveals research about how people learn English by watching popular television and films, listening to music and playing video games.

Kaplan, a leading provider of English courses, discovered that Friends, Harry Potter, Bob Marley and The Sims were all popular choices for helping people with their English language studies.

Martin Hofschröer, SEO Executive at Kaplan, said: "Congratulations to Asaf on winning the competition. He faced stiff competition from great bloggers but managed to come out on top.

"We are delighted with how the competition went and are looking forward to launching similar projects involving bloggers in the near future."

A combination of 57 English and Spanish bloggers took part in the competition and over 1,000 people voted with three lucky voters winning an iPod nano after entering a prize draw.

The competition page received over 1,700 Facebook likes and second prize went to Mark Pantua of the Philipines who won an iPod Touch.
