Kaplan Students Accept the Mannequin Challenge
If you’ve been living under a rock for the past few weeks, you may have missed the phenomenon that’s taken over the Internet – the Mannequin Challenge. Started by students in Florida, The Mannequin Challenge is a viral video trend that involves people freezing in action like mannequins – the human-shaped figures in shop windows – while a video is recorded. Similar to crazes such as The Harlem Shake and The Ice Bucket Challenge, the Mannequin Challenge has gone viral on social media, and has gained over 4 million twitter mentions since it began in November.
Not one to shy away from an Internet craze, our Kaplan students took a break from studying English to embrace the trend, accepting the Mannequin Challenge in our New York Empire State, San Diego, and Philadelphia schools. Take a look!
